My vision and purpose for Jenspen is to use the gifts God has given me to share the love of Jesus and the gospel message of Jesus with others.

We all have God given gifts, those things we are 'naturally good at'. We are all unique and have different personalities, different abilities, different ways of expressing ourselves.

​

Yet the commandment of the GREAT COMMISSION is to everyone of us who chooses to accept Jesus as their saviour and live the Christian life.

​

 "Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20 - The Great Commission)

The bible talks a lot about GIFTS and how he distributes different gifts to people. ( Read Romans 12:2-21) My gift is writing. Writing in general, writing creatively. I write stories, poems, songs, journals; I write in long detail and in simple sentences. I put my writing on greeting cards and posters and create video clips and reels. And in it all my purpose is share the precious gospel message, that same message that brought me out of the darkness and into the light over 30 years ago.

In the book of Jeremiah 30:2 “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you."

 

The Lord has highlighted this scripture verse to my heart more and more over the years. As I wait on Him, pray, worship and meditate on Him, the Holy Spirit always gives me fresh understanding and with it the urge to write it down.

 

This is the reason for Jenspen and why I do what I do. I don't know how long I will be here on this earth but I do know that what I am inspired to write will live on when I'm gone. And that brings me such a sense of accomplishment that my life has not been in vain.

 

I know how much the written word; whether its been read from the bible or a song; can change a persons life in a second. I know because it has happened to me.

 

My prayer is that the words I am led to write will touch the hearts of many and bring them into the light of the truth that will save and set free. Amen.
