Forty years ago I made the decision to become a Christian.
By this I mean choosing to believe in the gospel of Jesus and to be a follower of His ways.

To say that from then on life was all sunshine and roses would not be true!
Like most of us I have experienced many life changes, heartaches and disappointments in life.
But what IS true is that the relationship I've developed with Jesus over the years has been the anchor that has kept me going, has enabled me to get up again when I've been down, and has helped me to change and grow.
Over the years I been blessed and honored to be a part of some amazing ministry opportunities.
Some examples are:-
* Womens Group Outreach for single mothers - C3 Church Mackay Qld
*Pastor (Envoy) with The Salvation Army - I assisted in developing churches in Longreach Qld, Mount Isa Qld and Cairns Qld Indigenous Ministries.

*Youth Support / Ministry at various remote Aboriginal communities in Qld and Northern Territory.
*Homing Aboriginal Youth who needed accommodation to attend secondary school.
*Various bible college studies with The Salvation Army, The Assemblies of God, and online through Tabor College.
Throughout my adult years God has also developed a burden within me for Australias Indigenous people. I had the privilege of living and working with some Walpiri families in remote NT communities for some years and have continued contact with many to this day. To date I have returned twice and look forward to more visits with my Warlpiri families in the future and to writing about my experiences there and how they have changed me for the better.
